Jean Barr – TOP ACHIEVERS SALES TRAINING BIO
About 30 years ago she was working as a receptionist of an Insurance Company. An awesome man called Justin Dawes who was the then Sales and Marketing Director saw something in her and asked her to go on the road for the company as a Sales Person. And so a 30 year love affair with Sales began.
Jean has been in Sales and Sales Training for over 30 years, in top 500 companies on 3 continents. Jean started her company Top Achievers Sales Training about 18 months ago with a mission in mind. Her mission is to change the way the companies see their Sales Staff, and to change the way that Sales People see themselves. Sales people are professionals, who are the face of the companies that they work for and are part of the Brand Image that the company has tried so hard to establish.
Although Jean has experience in a number of industries, ie: Car Hire, Freight, Health Care, Hygiene, Advertising in web and book, Insurance, Pest Control, Print, Packaging, and telesales to name a few, she personally believes that Basic Sales Training forms the basis of any sales team and if you stick to the basics then you will be successful.
The training that she gives is based on 30 years of trial and error. She has kept the error parts to herself and sometimes uses them to highlight the good parts, but she figures that if they worked for her and allowed her to be the Top Sales Person in 6 Multi National Companies on 3 continents, then these same things could work for you and have worked for others that she has trained.
Jean has understood her target market, what an ideal client looks like, who are the opposition and what her points of difference are and believes that if more companies did this, their sales teams would be absolutely dynamic.
Jean believes that with an open mind, a good attitude and a healthy disposition, passion and enthusiasm, we can each achieve individual greatness in anything we put our minds to.
Jean speaks on a regular basis at lots of networking events and is absolutely passionate about allowing companies to understand their teams and to help mould them into Top Achieving people. To help the companies to understand that their people are the brand of their companies, to help them to recruit the right people, to motivate and maintain the right people.
Jean is also passionate about training Sales people to be Top Achievers, to work from a position of strength and to be the best people that they can be. To work with a system that will help them to be more productive and more profitable.
