Born and bred in Scotland - Mary Tonner moved to New Zealand in 1971 to forge a new life for herself and her family. She has three sons, all living in different parts of New Zealand and taking advantage of, and expanding on, that "new life".

Mary worked as a Business and Crisis Manager & Accountant for a variety of different companies, in a variety of different locations in Scotland and New Zealand.

Seeing the lack of enthusiasm a huge number of people have in their work, she specialised in setting up business systems (manual and computerised), and in the training of the staff in the use of these systems. The philosophy behind this approach was about enabling them to utilise their own strengths within the systems. " People spend a lot of time at work and it needs to be a place of enjoyment, where each can contribute and gain the rewards of a job well done" says Mary.

Furthering her own desire to see people living their lives to the fullest, Mary studied and is registered with many organisations: Qi-Gung, Numerology, Quantum-Touch Healing; Massage & Aromatherapy; Herbs; EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques); Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology, to name some - and then Mary discovered Homeopathy.

She qualified as a Homeopath from the Auckland College of Classical Homeopathy and is a registered member of the NZ Register of Homeopaths Inc. She then continued her studies to gain certification as a Life Coach through the NZ School of Coaching. She is now a Director in PeopleStuff NZ, where Mary, her business partner Maria Brown and several Associates, have professional rooms in Orewa, on Auckland's Hibiscus Coast.

As well as running her own Practice she tutors at the homeopathic college, is currently a mentor for the college's distance students, and gives presentations at seminars, workshops, classes, and talks to interested groups, and is in the process of becoming a member of the NZ Speakers Association. She has also worked with the Homeopathic Health Consultants group, presenting seminars to Midwives groups throughout New Zealand.

Mary consults with clients around New Zealand as well as in the United Kingdom, Australia and other parts of the world. "Email, telephones & texting are wonderful these days" and a lot of people feel more at ease talking through their issues by email rather than on a face-to-face basis. Mary believes in working alongside any other professionals that her clients may have previously been consulting, and may still wish to consult.

She is quick to inform people that, "Coaching & Homeopathy are not exclusive nor alternative, but is a truly integrative way to health & wellbeing".
