YOLANDA’S STORY

Yolanda Cholmondeley-Smith had no idea she was destined to become a clairvoyant. There were no clues in her early life. She followed a lively career path―teacher, fashion designer and university lecturer. When other Intuitives told her she had ‘healing hands’ she began to explore her gift but it was some time before she considered making it her career. After training as a Reiki teacher, Yolanda embarked on a tumultuous journey of self-discovery. This was to lay the foundation for the next stage of her life as an energy intuitive with an innate gift for reading energy visually and symbolically.

Some people are intuitively aware from childhood but Yolanda says her intuition evolved slowly. She believes we all have access to our intuition which manifests in its own unique way, but not everyone chooses to develop it.

While her professional intuitive talents were waiting to manifest, Yolanda qualified as a teacher and later launched herself into a dynamic career as a fashion designer. She designed and produced exclusive hand-knitted women’s and children’s garments for the top end of Australian and Californian markets, free-lanced as a knitwear designer for international yarn companies and worked as a designer for Prue Action, Australia. Yolanda’s qualifications in teaching and fashion design (Textile Design Diploma from RMIT Melbourne) culminated in a post at James Cook University in Queensland where she lectured in Costume Design and Production.

Yolanda’s journey has not been without its challenges. The millennium heralded a difficult period health wise and if it hadn’t been for a voice from beyond guiding her at her lowest point, she doubts she would be here today. After two life threatening brain hemorrhages, Yolanda was convinced it would take a miracle for her to survive. Lying in a hospital bed, unable to walk and hardly talk, she suddenly heard a voice telling her to “take up your bed and walk”. Yolanda ignored the voice at first but when it repeated she courageously struggled out of bed and to the astonishment of everyone around her, set off on the slow and arduous road to recovery. It would take two years of patience, perseverance and immense hard work to regain her health.

When reminded of how fragile and precious life is, nothing is taken for granted. Yolanda’s passion for her life and work is stronger and her focus sharper since her recovery.

Through her clairvoyant readings, Yolanda acts as a catalyst for personal and business transformation. She shares her extraordinary gift with compassion, humility and humour and for the recipient it’s an empowering and enlightening experience.

She gives public presentations for business groups and national fundraising organisations and continues to travel teaching Energy workshops and seminars. Yolanda regularly attends international conferences and teaching seminars which focus on experiencing the energy of the Presence in all aspects of business, health, relationships and the abundance of life.

Having walked through her own tunnel of darkness and discovering the light at the other end, Yolanda is eminently qualified to guide, teach and inspire clients who are facing obstacles in their personal or professional lives.
