Death never meant a thing to me until I reached 50 years old. I thought I was immortal! Then out of the blue one day, I could see the end of the road – albeit in the distance but there it was never the less. Suddenly there didn’t seem to be any time to waste.

This series of 5 articles is about change which most of us resist for different reasons. These reasons or ‘zones’ as I have called them help us to identify our stumbling blocks to a better future. Last month we addressed the first zone called the Safe Zone, driven by fear. This month we look at: The Comfort Zone (Zone 2)
- Typified by words such as settled, bored, lazy, undisciplined and lack of vision. Do not confuse the comfort zone with being content, at peace or happy, which is a great place to be and is achieved when a person is functioning at their best.

Decisions shape our lives. A decision is simply making a choice. The more decisions―the greater the choice! We become who we are and we live like we do as a direct result of our choices. Ouch! That probably hurt if you don’t like your life, or you hate making decisions.
